THIS BULLETIN CANCELS AND REPLACES PRODUCT SERVICE BULLETIN 88-3-136 AND 89-3-114 TO INCLUDE THE 1990-91 MODEL YEARS AND TO UPDATE THE PART NUMBERS. ALL COPIES OF 88-3-136 AND 89-3-114 SHOULD BE DISCARDED.

Customer comments of high power steering effort may be received on 1988-1991 C/K trucks.

C/K trucks have been designed with a higher required steering effort to provide a better road feel.

Before replacing any power steering components, check suspension components to be sure they are not damaged or worn out. If suspension components show no problems and the customer wishes to have the steering effort reduced, the following parts can be installed.
