MODELS: 1992 C/K 1,2 SUBURBAN, UTILITY AND G VEHICLES

Rear axle ring and pinion sets for 1992 C/K Utilities, Suburbans and 1992 G Vans are system balanced as an assembly. The assembly is balanced as a unit with the pinion flange weighted as a harmonic member.

When axle repairs dictate that a new ring and pinion gear set be installed, a new pinion flange must also be used. Discard the original pinion flange and refer to the appropriate GMSPO Parts Catalog for the proper service flange.
