CONDITION Some owners of 1992 model year C/K trucks and G vans with 5.0 liter V8 engines (VIN H) may comment of engine cold start stall. The potential stall generally occurs when the throttle is slightly opened.
CAUSE Initial cold start stalling was due to lean fueling during cold start operation.
CORRECTION If normal diagnostics and service procedures do not correct the above condition, a revised calibration PROM should be installed (see below).
