Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

    2. Object Number: 181988 Size: SH
  2. Remove the oil filter from the engine block. Clean the oil filter mounting surfaces.

    3. Object Number: 182850 Size: SH
  3. Remove the oil pan drain plug and drain the engine oil. Clean the oil pan drain plug and mounting surface.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 181988 Size: SH
  1. Install the oil filter to the engine block. Tighten the oil filter per the oil filter manufacturers instruction printed on the oil filter bax.

    2. Object Number: 182850 Size: SH
  2. Install the drain plug to the oil pan.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the drain plug to 28 N·m (21 lb ft)

  3. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  4. Fill the crankcase with oil. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations in Maintenance and Lubrication..
