Removal Procedure
  1. Apply the parking brake.
  2. Block the wheels.
  3. Drain all the reservoirs. Refer to Draining Reservoirs .
  4. Remove the air lines from the valve.
  5. Tag or label the air lines for later installation.

  6. Remove the pin (2).
  7. Remove the knob (3).
  8. Remove the nut (1).
  9. Remove the control valve (7).
  10. Inspect the air lines for damage or deterioration.
  11. Repair the air lines as needed.
  12. Check for cracked, loose, or missing line clips or ties.
  13. Repair the line clips or the ties as needed.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 202448 Size: SH
  1. Install the control valve (7). Mount the valve at a 45 degree angle in order to install the connecting air lines.
  2. Install the nut (1).
  3. Install the knob (3).
  4. Install the pin (2).
  5. Install the air lines.
  6. Start the engine.
  7. Charge the system air pressure to the governor cut-out point.
  8. Stop the engine.
  9. Check for air leaks using a soap solution.
  10. Check for proper operation.
  11. Remove the wheel blocks.
