Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front wheelhouse panel.

  2. Object Number: 198949  Size: SH
  3. Remove the front intake air duct (1) from the air filter housing.

  4. Object Number: 199097  Size: SH
  5. Remove the coolant recovery reservoir overflow hose (1) and the clamps (2).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 199097  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the coolant recovery reservoir overflow hose (1) and the clamps (2).
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the coolant recovery reservoir hose clamps to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  3. Install the front intake air duct (1) to the air filter housing.
  4. Install the front wheelhouse panel.
  5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
