This procedure should be utilized in order to release the park brake when the hydraulic system has failed and you need to move the vehicle.

Important: Do not cut the cable.

1. Block the wheels.
2. Remove the lock nut on the actuator end of the cable at the two-piece fitting.



3. Hold the two-piece fitting's larger 1  inch nut while turning the fitting's smaller 7/8 inch nut to the right.
4. Continue to turn the 7/8  inch nut until the brake releases. You should not need to remove the cable.
