- With the engine off, rotate the fuel control lever (3) to the wide open throttle
position.
- Make sure that the throttle cable pulls on the modulator cable
as the fuel control lever is moved toward the full throttle position.
- Adjust the clevis (2) to a position that leaves a 0.5 mm
(0.02 in) gap between the clevis pin (4) and the end of the clevis
slot.
- If the clevis cannot be adjusted in order to obtain the gap, use
the following procedure:
4.1. | Move the adjusting nut (1) on the modulator cable as necessary
in order to position the clevis in the area of the specified gap. |
4.2. | Adjust the clevis (2) to a position that leaves a 0.5 mm
(0.02 in) gap between the clevis pin (4) and the end of the clevis
slot. |
- Return the fuel control lever (3) to the idle position.
- Test the transmission for normal shift operations.
