Makes 🢒 GMC_Truck 🢒 1999 🢒 GMC C-Series Medium Duty Truck B7 🢒 Steering 🢒 Steering Wheel and Column - Standard 🢒 Lock Housing Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle
  1. Remove the steering column lock cylinder set. Refer to Steering Column Lock Cylinder Set - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .

    2. Object Number: 382893 Size: SH
  2. Remove the thrust washer.

    3. Object Number: 382896 Size: SH
  3. Remove the 4 hex washer head tapping screws (1) from the lock housing cover assembly (2).
  4. Remove the lock housing cover assembly (2) from the steering column jacket assembly (4).
  5. Remove the floor shift bowl (3) from the jacket assembly (4) with the switch actuator rod still attached.

    6. Object Number: 382897 Size: SH
  6. Remove the 3 pan head 6-lobed socket screws (3).

    7. Object Number: 382898 Size: SH
  7. Remove the upper bearing retainer (3).
  8. Remove the bearing retaining bushing (2).
  9. Remove the bearing assembly (1).
