Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 200536  Size: SH
  1. Remove the air compressor. Refer to Air Compressor Replacement .
  2. Remove the air compressor bracket front bracket bolts and the washers.
  3. Remove the air compressor bracket front bracket.
  4. Inspect the air compressor front bracket for damage. Replace the air compressor front bracket as needed.
  5. Inspect the air compressor front bracket bushings for wear or damage. Replace the air compressor front bracket bushings as needed.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 200536  Size: SH
  1. Install the air compressor bracket front bracket.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the air compressor bracket front bracket bolts, the washers, and the nuts.
  4. Tighten

        • Tighten the air compressor bracket front bracket (front of the engine) bolts to 64 N·m (47 lb ft).
        • Tighten the air compressor bracket front bracket (side of the engine) bolts to 54 N·m (40 lb ft).
  5. Install the air compressor.
