REQUEST FOR REVIEW

Any questions related to suggested new or existing operations and/or time allowances in this time guide should be submitted as a Request for Review. Request for Review information can be found at the end of this publication.

It is important that vehicle identification data affecting or influencing the operation in question be provided. It is also important to submit a complete (detailed) description of the work performed. The statement followed shop manual procedure is generally not a sufficient explanation of the procedure followed. Generally, a technician performs the steps of an operation in a sequence that is comfortable to him/her and it is their procedure, which we would like to review and compare with ours. The Request for Review is primarily intended for your use to inform us of a problem affecting the ability of technicians to perform an operation within the published time allowance.

All inquiries received will be acknowledged and investigated. The Labor Time Guide text and procedure as published in the model year service manual will be reviewed, and restudies will be conducted as required. Results of the review will be sent to the dealership Service Manager.

Note: Cab type P, S, and T are not specifically covered in this schedule. When chassis repairs are necessary the published times in column H are to be used. In cases where these times may not be adequate, contact your local zone office for assistance. Labor operations such as paint, sheet metal, body, trim, or glass are not to be used on P, S, and T cab types. The exception to this is bumper, grille, fenders, hood, and cowl areas on T type flat back cowl models.
