Evaporative Emission Hoses/Pipes Replacement - Chassis/Canister W/Left Fuel Tank

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.



2. Disconnect the chassis EVAP purge pipe (7) from the engine EVAP purge pipe (3). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .



3. Disconnect the chassis EVAP purge pipe (2) from the EVAP canister.
4. Remove the three retaining straps (1) and spacers from the fuel pipe bundle.
5. Remove the EVAP purge pipe.

1. Position the EVAP purge pipe to the chassis.
2. Install the spacers and three new retaining straps (1) to the fuel pipe bundle and chassis brackets.
3. Connect the chassis EVAP purge pipe (2) to the EVAP canister.



4. Connect the chassis EVAP purge pipe (7) to the engine EVAP purge pipe (3). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
5. Lower the vehicle.

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.



2. Disconnect the chassis EVAP purge pipe (7) from the engine EVAP purge pipe (3). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .



3. Disconnect the chassis EVAP purge pipe (2) from the EVAP canister.
4. Remove the three retaining straps (1) and spacers from the fuel pipe bundle.
5. Remove the EVAP purge pipe.

1. Position the EVAP purge pipe to the chassis.
2. Install the spacers and three new retaining straps (1) to the fuel pipe bundle and chassis brackets.
3. Connect the chassis EVAP purge pipe (2) to the EVAP canister.



4. Connect the chassis EVAP purge pipe (7) to the engine EVAP purge pipe (3). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
5. Lower the vehicle.
