Some customers may comment that the radiator surge tank cap contacts the underside of the hood.
Move the radiator surge tank rearward 13 mm (0.50 in) by installing spacers between the surge tank and the mounting bracket. This will increase the space between the surge tank and the hood reinforcement preventing the rub condition. Use the procedure and part numbers listed below.
Tighten
Tighten the radiator surge tank bolts to 13 N·m (115 in lb).
