Removal Procedure
- Locate the clutch master cylinder on the
front of dash in the engine compartment.
- Disconnect the hydraulic line quick connect
fitting to the master cylinder.
- Turn the clutch master cylinder 45 degrees clockwise to unlock the master
cylinder.
- Disconnect the wiring harness from the clutch
master cylinder start switch.
- Push the clutch pedal down all the way and squeeze in the tabs to release
the pushrod bushing from the clutch pedal pocket.
- Remove the clutch master cylinder from the dash panel.
- Remove the clutch master cylinder from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Position the clutch master cylinder to
the vehicle.
- Install the master cylinder to dash panel.
- Turn the master cylinder 45 degrees counterclockwise to lock the master
cylinder.
- Connect the wire harness to the clutch master cylinder.
- Push the clutch pedal all the way down and connect the clutch pedal pocket
to the pushrod bushing tabs and make sure the pushrod bushing snaps into place
to ensure proper clutch pedal operation.
- Connect the hydraulic line quick connect
fitting to the master cylinder.
- If needed, pump the clutch pedal 25 times for proper operation of the
clutch system.
