Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Access Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the stationary window. Refer to Rear Window Replacement .
  3. Remove the inside door handle. Refer to Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  4. Remove the outside door handle. Refer to Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  5. Remove the upper and lower door latches. Refer to Rear Side Door Latch Replacement - Upper and Rear Side Door Latch Replacement - Lower .
  6. Remove the door speaker.
  7. Remove the weatherstrip from the door. Refer to Side Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement .

  8. Disconnect the door wire harness. Refer to Door Wiring Harness Replacement .
  9. Remove the front door striker. Refer to Door Striker Replacement .

    10. Object Number: 522133 Size: SH
  10. Remove the door check link bolt from the pillar side.
  11. Remove the hinge retaining clips.
  12. With an assistant, lift the door up from the hinge pins and remove the door from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 522133 Size: SH
  1. With an assistant install the door to the vehicle by setting the door down on the hinge pins.
  2. Install the top and bottom clips hinge retaining clips.

    3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the door check link bolt to the pillar side.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the door check link bolt to 24 N·m (18 lb ft).

  4. Connect the door wire harness.
  5. Install the front door striker. Refer to Door Striker Replacement .
  6. Install the rear door weatherstrip. Refer to Side Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement .
  7. Install the upper and lower door latches. Refer to Rear Side Door Latch Replacement - Upper and Rear Side Door Latch Replacement - Lower .
  8. Install the outside door handle. Refer to Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  9. Install the inside door handle. Refer to Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  10. Install the stationary window. Refer to Rear Window Replacement .
  11. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Access Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  12. Inspect the alignment of the door. Refer to Door Adjustment .
  13. Install body side molding. Refer to Door Body Side Molding Replacement .
