Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 396817 Size: SH
  1. Remove the grille assembly. Refer to Grille Replacement .
  2. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hose from the auxiliary oil cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .

    3. Object Number: 396808 Size: SH
  3. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hose from the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .

    4. Object Number: 396807 Size: SH
  4. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  5. Remove the engine protection shield. Refer to Engine Protection Shield Replacement .
  6. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hoses from the transmission. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  7. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hoses from the retainer on the engine.
  8. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hoses from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 396807 Size: SH
  1. Install the transmission fluid cooler hoses to the vehicle.
  2. Install the transmission fluid cooler hoses to the transmission. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  3. Install the transmission fluid cooler hoses to the retainer on the engine.
  4. Install the engine protection shield. Refer to Engine Protection Shield Replacement .
  5. Lower the vehicle.

  6. Install the transmission fluid cooler hose to the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .

    7. Object Number: 396817 Size: SH
  7. Install the transmission fluid cooler hose from the auxiliary oil cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  8. Install the grille assembly. Refer to Grille Replacement .
