Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 396817 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front grille. Refer to Grille Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the auxiliary transmission fluid cooler lines from the auxiliary oil cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .

    3. Object Number: 1488801 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the transmission fluid cooler lines from the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  5. Remove the engine protection shield. Refer to Engine Protection Shield Replacement .

    6. Object Number: 396804 Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the oil cooler lines from the transmission. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  7. Remove the oil cooler lines from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 396804 Size: SH
  1. Install the transmission oil cooler lines to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the cooling lines to the transmission. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .

    3. Object Number: 1488801 Size: SH
  3. Install the engine protection shield. Refer to Engine Protection Shield Replacement .
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Connect the transmission fluid cooler lines from the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .

    6. Object Number: 396817 Size: SH
  6. Connect the transmission fluid cooler hose to the Auxiliary oil cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  7. Install the front grille. Refer to Grille Replacement .
