Winter Cover Does Not Properly Fit - keywords appearance body bumper diesel front fascia

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Some GMC Sierra customers may comment that on their diesel equipped truck, the front bumper (fascia) winter protection cover does not properly fit on the new , redesigned bumper. The tabs at the bottom of the fascia may prevent the cover (P/N 15179680 ) to be properly mounted to the vehicle.

A new lower front fascia cover has been released to address this issue. The new P/N is 15866048 (Cover Asm-Frt Bpr Fascia OPG ).

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
