When programming any module on a truck equipped with a 6-speed Allison transmission, you may encounter SPS error messages and be unable to complete programming. This may be caused by the Transmission Control Module (TCM) for the Allison transmission waking
up during programming and interrupting the procedure.
For 2006 models only, remove the 10 amp TCM fuse in the UBEC, continue with the programming process and when completed, reinstall the fuse.
