LEAKING REAR PROPELLER SHAFT REPLACE CUP PLUG

SOME 1984 "K" TRUCKS AND "K" JIMMYS MAY EXHIBIT A TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAKING CONDITION FROM THE FRONT YOKE ON THE REAR PROPELLER SHAFT. THIS CONDITION MAY BE CAUSED BY THE CUP PLUG IN THE REAR OF THE YOKE (SEE FIGURE NO. 1) WHICH MAY NOT BE SEALING PROPERLY. IF THIS CONDITION IS ENCOUNTERED, THE YOKE ASSEMBLY MUST BE REPLACED.
