FRONT AXLE FLUID LEAK THROUGH REMOTE VENT

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1988 K --------------------------

Some owners of 1988 K trucks may comment on front axle leaks through the remote axle vent. A new front axle vent plug assembly, part number 26015413, will be used in 1989 K models. The new vent plug assembly has a "weather vane" inside to prevent direct flow of axle fluid into the vent. The new part can be installed on 1988 K models to correct front axle leaks through the remote vent.
