'HOOT' NOISE DURING VEHICLE HIGHWAY OPERATION

MODELS: 1988-89 K1,K2,K3

Some 1988-1989 K trucks may exhibit a "hoot" noise during vehicle highway operation. This condition is caused by wind rushing over the access holes for the stabilizer bar link in the lower control arm.

SERVICE ACTION

Install plug in the link access hole in the lower control arms. (2 per vehicle.)
