GENERAL MOTORS HAS DETERMINED THAT CERTAIN 1994 C/K 100/200 TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH 4L60-E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS (M30) MAY HAVE BEEN SHIPPED FROM THE FT. WAYNE ASSEMBLY PLANT WITH SOME OR ALL OF THE THREE TRANSMISSION TORQUE CONVERTER BOLTS TIGHTENED BELOW THE SPECIFIED TORQUE.
TO CORRECT THIS CONDITION, THE THREE TORQUE CONVERTER BOLTS MUST BE TORQUED TO SPECIFICATION. IF ANY OF THE BOLTS HAVE FALLEN OUT, NEW BOLTS MUST BE INSTALLED.

3. REMOVE TRANSMISSION TORQUE CONVERTER INSPECTION COVER.
4. INSPECT FOR THREE TORQUE CONVERTER-TO-FLEX PLATE BOLTS. IF MISSING, REPLACE WITH BOLT P/N 1261968.
5. TORQUE ALL THREE BOLTS TO 63 N.M (46 LBS. FT.).
6. INSTALL INSPECTION COVER AND BOLTS. TIGHTEN BOLTS TO:
- C1,2 W/4.3L - 33 N.M (24 LBS. FT.)
- C1,2 W/5.OL/5.7L - 12 N.M (9 LBS. FT.)
- K1,2 W/ ALL ENGINES - 33 N.M (24 LBS. FT.)
7. INSTALL TRANSMISSION BRACE RODS (IF EQUIPPED). TIGHTEN BOLTS TO:
