Circuit Description

This diagnostic will determine if the ABS system is capable of detecting a rough road situation. DTC P1380 is a type D DTC.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

    • Vehicle speed is at least 1 MPH.
    • Engine speed is no more than 5800 RPM.
    • Engine load is no more than 89.9%.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

The Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) will not be illuminated. A history DTC P1380 will be stored.

Conditions for Clearing the MIL/DTC
