For 1990-2009 cars only
- Using clean solvent, clean the crankshaft balancer.
- Using compressed air, dry the crankshaft balancer.
- Inspect the oil seal contact area on the crankshaft balancer shaft for grooving and roughness. Replace if necessary.
- Always replace the crankshaft balancer if the crankshaft breaks.
Caution: Wear safety glasses in order to avoid eye damage.
