    Object Number: 351769 Size: SH
  1. Remove the upper intake manifold bolts.

    2. Important: Do not attempt to loosen the manifold by prying under the gasket surface with any tool.

  2. Remove the upper intake manifold.

    3. Object Number: 351764 Size: SH

    Important: The upper intake manifold gaskets are not reusable.

  3. Remove and discard the upper intake manifold gaskets.

    4. Object Number: 501422 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the fuel injector regulator vacuum hose connection from the intake manifold fitting.

    5. Object Number: 276370 Size: SH
  5. Remove the fuel rail bolts.

    6. Object Number: 276369 Size: SH
  6. Remove the fuel rail assembly.

    7. Lift evenly on both sides of the assembly until all the injectors have left their bores.


    Object Number: 351763 Size: SH
  7. Remove the lower intake manifold bolts.

    8. Important: Do not attempt to loosen the manifold by prying under the gasket surface with any tool.

  8. Remove the lower intake manifold.

    9. Lift the lower intake manifold up evenly until removed from the engine.


    Object Number: 351760 Size: SH
  9. Remove and discard the lower intake manifold gaskets.

    10. Object Number: 351757 Size: SH
  10. Remove and discard the lower intake manifold seals.

    11. Object Number: 276364 Size: SH
  11. Remove the splash shield.
