Problem

Action

The springs are broken or sagging.

Inspect and repair as necessary. Refer to the appropriate procedure:

    •  Front Coil Springs Replacement in Front Suspension
    •  Leaf Springs Replacement in Front Suspension
    •  Torsion Bar and Support Assembly Replacement in Front Suspension
    •  Torsion Bar and Support Assembly Replacement in Front Suspension
    •  Leaf Spring Replacement in Rear Suspension
    •  Leaf Spring Replacement in Rear Suspension
    •  Leaf Spring Replacement in Rear Suspension

The stabilizer shaft is loose or disconnected.

Inspect the stabilizer shaft links and insulators for damage. Repair or replace as necessary. For stabilizer shaft link replacement, refer to the appropriate procedure:

    •  Stabilizer Shaft Replacement in Rear Suspension
    •  Stabilizer Shaft Replacement in Rear Suspension

The vehicle is overloaded.

Reduce the vehicle load.

The tire pressure(s) is incorrect.

Inflate the tire(s) to proper specifications.

Refer to Tire Inflation Pressure Specifications in Maintenance and Lubrication.
