Conditions for Setting the DTC
A remote control door lock transmitter was used without programming the BCM. If the remote control door lock transmitter was programmed, the remote control door lock transmitter may be defective. A remote control door lock transmitter not assigned to the BCM may have been used.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
There will be no remote control door lock transmitter functionality.
Conditions for Clearing the MIL/DTC
Fault is corrected and DTC memory clearing procedure is completed.
Diagnostic Aids
The BCM should be put into diagnostic mode and the remote control door lock transmitter programmed to the BCM.
