Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 519964 Size: SH
  1. Remove the push pins securing the Z-shaped brace brackets (2) from the cladding lower.
  2. Remove the three nuts from the inner part of the rear quarter panel securing the rear quarter cladding (3)
  3. Remove the cladding (3) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 519964 Size: SH
  1. Install the Z-shaped brace brackets (2) to the Mounting Brace (1).
  2. Install the mounting brace (1) to the rear quarter cladding (3).
  3. Install the rear cladding (3) to the vehicle.
  4. Install the two lower push pins into the Z-shaped brackets

    5. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the three mounting nuts.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the three mounting nuts to 10 N·m (7.5 lb in).

  6. Ensure proper fit and form to the lower rear quarter panel and clearance from the exhaust tail pipe.
