Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement Base

Removal Procedure

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

  2. Object Number: 294578  Size: SH
  3. Use a flat blade tool in order to carefully pry the door accessory mounting panel from the door trim panel.
  4. Remove the switch mounting panel.
  5. Disconnect the power accessory electrical connectors from the switches and the speaker, as necessary.
  6. Use a flat blade tool in order to carefully pry the switches from the accessory mounting panel.
  7. Remove the switches.
  8. Carefully spread the speaker grill retainers, as necessary.
  9. Rotate the speaker counterclockwise , as necessary.
  10. Remove the speaker from the switch mounting panel.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 294578  Size: SH
  1. Rotate the speaker clockwise in order to install the speaker to the switch mounting panel, as necessary.
  2. Snap the speaker grill in place in the switch mounting panel, as necessary.
  3. Snap the switches in place in the switch mounting panel.
  4. Connect the power accessory electrical connectors to the switches and the speaker, as necessary.
  5. Snap the switch mounting panel in place.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.

  4. Remove the switch mounting panel.

  5. Object Number: 294578  Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the power accessory electrical connectors from the switches as necessary.
  7. Use a flat blade tool in order to carefully pry the switches from the accessory mounting panel.
  8. Remove the switches.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 294578  Size: SH
  1. Snap the switches in place in the switch mounting panel.
  2. Connect the power accessory electrical connectors to the switches as necessary.

  3. Object Number: 326646  Size: SH
  4. Snap the switch mounting panel in place.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
