Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the wiring connector from the sidemarker.

  2. Object Number: 277609  Size: SH
  3. Remove the fender (4) from the side panel bolts.
  4. Remove the fender from the brace bolts. (6,7)
  5. Remove the wheelhouse filler panel and the bolts.
  6. Remove the nuts (1) from the fender studs.
  7. Remove the fender from the side panel.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 277609  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the fender (4) to the side panel with the bolts.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the fender to the side panel bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the nuts (1) to the fender studs.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to the fender studs to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  5. Install the wheelhouse filler panel with the bolts.
  6. Install the fender to the brace bolts (6,7).
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the fender to the brace bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  8. Install the wiring connector to the sidemarker.
