Removal Procedure

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Lower the window.
  3. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  5. Carefully pry out the retainer clips in order to remove the speaker, as necessary.

  7. Remove the inner panel bolts.

  8. Object Number: 277772  Size: SH
  9. Remove the lock rods from the following components:
  10. • The lock handle
    • The lock lever
    • The lock rod guides
  11. Disconnect the wiring harness.
  12. Slide the inner mounting panel rearward in order to release the regulator roller from the window sash.
  13. Remove the inner mounting panel.

Installation Procedure

  1. Slide the inner mounting panel forward in order to release the regulator roller from the window sash.
  2. Install the inner mounting panel to the window sash.

  3. Connect the wiring harness.

  4. Object Number: 277746  Size: SH
  5. Install the lock rods to the following components:
  6. • The lock handle
    • The lock lever
    • The lock rod guides
  7. Install the inner panel bolts.
  8. Install the speaker, as necessary.
  9. Carefully pry out the retainer clips in order to install the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  10. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  11. Connect the negative battery cable.
