1. Turn the ignition ON.
2. Turn the engine OFF.
3. Set the park brake.
4. Place the transmission in reverse.
5. Connect a test lamp from terminal A of the inoperative lamp connector to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 2

Locate and repair the open in CKT 1324 (LT GRN) between the lamp and the rear lamps bussing block.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

Connect a self-powered test lamp from terminal B of the inoperative lamp connector to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Replace the lamp.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

--

Locate and repair the open in CKT 1750 (BLK) between the lamp and the rear lamps bussing block.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK
