1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Connect a scan tool.
3. Turn the ignition to the ON, position.
4. Using the scan tool, check for any DTCs in the body control module (BCM).

Does the scan tool show any DTCs?

Go to Step 2

Turn the turn signal ON, both left then right.

Do the turn signals function properly?

Go to Step 3

Go to Turn Signal Lamps Inoperative

1. Remove the inoperative lamp.
2. Inspect the filament.

Is the filament open?

--

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Replace the inoperative bulb.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

--

1. Turn the park lights ON.
2. Connect a test lamp from terminal A of the inoperative lamp to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 6

Locate and repair the open in CKT 2309 (BRN) between the inoperative lamp and the underhood bussed electrical center (UBEC).

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

--

Locate and repair the open in CKT 2114 (LT BLU) for the left hand side, CKT 2115 (DK BLU) for the right hand side between lamp and the UBEC.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK
