  1. Turn OFF the ignition.
  2. Ensure the park brake is not set.
  3. Place the automatic transmission in park. For manual transmission, place the transmission in neutral and block the wheels.
  4. Place the headlamp switch in the auto position.
  5. Turn ON the ignition with the engine OFF.

(Day light conditions). The DRL lamps (automatic transmission) are OFF, (manual transmission) ON.

All other exterior lamps off.

    • DRL lamps On (automatic). Refer to Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) Headlamps Always On .
    •  DRL lamps off (manual). Refer to Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) Headlamps Inoperative .
    •  Refer to Headlamps On in Daylight Conditions .
    • Refer to Park Lamps Inoperative .

  1. Turn OFF the ignition.
  2. Set the park brake.
  3. Place the automatic transmission in park. For manual transmissions, place the transmission in neutral and block the wheels.
  4. Place the headlamp switch in the auto position.
  5. Turn ON the ignition with the engine OFF.

(Day light conditions). The DRL lamps are FFf.

All other exterior lamps off.

    • Refer to Headlamps On in Daylight Conditions .
    • Parklamps on.
        Refer to Park Lamps Inoperative .

  1. Turn ON the ignition.
  2. Ensure the park brake is not set.
  3. Place the transmission in drive then to park for automatic transmissions. For manual transmissions, place the transmission in neutral and block the wheels.
  4. Place the headlamp switch in the auto position.
  5. Cover the ambient light sensor in order to block out all light.

The DRL lamps are OFF.

All other exterior lamps are ON, the headlamps and the park lamps.

    • DRL lamps On. Refer to Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) Headlamps Always On .
    • Parklamps off. Refer to Park Lamps Inoperative .
