Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.

  2. Object Number: 334315  Size: SH
  3. Unsnap the outboard air inlet grille panel sections.

  4. Object Number: 348546  Size: SH
  5. Remove the attaching clips running along the edges of the center air inlet grille panel.
  6. Remove the sheet metal screws on each end of the air inlet grille panel.
  7. Disconnect the windshield washer hose from the nozzle underneath the center air inlet grille panel.
  8. Remove the air inlet grille panel.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the windshield washer hose to the nozzle under the center air inlet grille panel.

  2. Object Number: 348546  Size: SH
  3. Position the air inlet grille panel to the vehicle and attach the clips to the edges of the center air inlet grille panel.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the sheet metal screws on each end of the air inlet grille panel.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the outboard air inlet grille panel sections.
  8. Install the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement in Wipers/Washer System.
