  1. Close all the vehicle doors.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

The SECURITY indicator turns off when the ignition switch is turned to the ON position.

  1. Roll down the drivers window.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  3. Remove the key from the igniton switch.
  4. Open the driver door.

The SECURITY indicator starts flashing.

Press the LOCK button on the remote transmitter.

The SECURITY indicator stops flashing and remains on continuously.

Close the all doors.

The SECURITY indicator turns off after approximately 15 seconds. The system is now armed.

Perform any of the following functions in order to activate an armed theft deterrent system and in order to simulate an illegal entry:

    • Use the power lock switch in order to unlock the driver door or the passenger door and to open a door.
    • Use the inside lock lever in order to unlock the driver door or the passenger door and to open a door.

The CTD system activates the following actions in order to indicate a vehicle intrusion:

    • The horn sounds.
    • The exterior lights will flash.

Use the key in order to unlock the driver door or the passenger door.

The alarm disarms.

Press the UNLOCK button on the remote transmitter.

The alarm disarms.
