Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 350594  Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the tail/turn signal lamp wiring connectors (1) at the rear lamps bussing block at the rear of the vehicle.
  2. Open the fuel filler door.

  3. Object Number: 354587  Size: SH
  4. Remove the screws and the push-pin holding the fuel filler pocket to the side panel.

  5. Object Number: 340587  Size: SH
  6. Remove the bolts (1) holding the box to the frame rails.
  7. Remove the box from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Place the pickup box on the vehicle.

  2. Object Number: 340587  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Loosely install the bolts (1) holding the pickup box to the frame rails.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the box to the frame rail bolts to 85 N·m (63 lb ft).

  5. Fasten the screws and the push-pin around the fuel filler pocket.
  6. Close the fuel filler door.

  8. Connect the tail lamp wiring connectors (1) at the rear lamps bussing block, at the rear of the vehicle.
