    Object Number: 369665 Size: SH
  4. Install the caliper mounting bracket to the steering knuckle assembly.
  5. Important: The caliper mounting bracket bolts contain a special adhesive locking patch that is not reusable. It is recommended that the bolts be replaced with new service bolts and torqued to the recommended specification. If the bolts must be reused, follow the adhesive patch replacement procedure.

  6. Perform the following procedure if you are reusing the bolts.
  7. 4.1.  Remove all traces of the original adhesive patch.
4.2. Clean the threads of the bolt with brake parts cleaner or the equivalent and allow to dry.
4.3. Apply Threadlocker GM P/N 12345493 or Red LOCTITEâ„¢ #272 to the threads of the bolt.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  8. Install the caliper mounting bracket bolts to the steering knuckle.
  9. Tighten

        • Tighten the brake caliper mounting bracket to 175 N·m(129 lb ft) (15 series).
