For 1990-2009 cars only
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
- Remove the fuel fill cap.
- Using a hand or air operated pump drain as much fuel through the fuel fill pipe as possible.
