Removal Procedure
Remove the front grill assembly. Refer to
Grille Replacement
in Exterior Trim.
Remove the transmission fluid cooler hose from the Auxiliary oil cooler. Refer to
Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
.
Remove the transmission fluid cooler hose from the radiator. Refer to
Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
.
Raise the vehicle. Refer to
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
in General Information.
Remove the engine protection shield. Refer to
Engine Protection Shield Replacement
in Frame and Underbody.
Remove the cooling lines from the transmission. Refer to
Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
.
Remove the oil cooling lines from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Install the transmission oil cooler lines to the vehicle.
Install the cooling lines to the transmission. Refer to
Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
.
Install the engine protection shield. Refer to
Engine Protection Shield Replacement
in Frame and Underbody.
Lower the vehicle.
Install the transmission fluid cooler hose to the radiator. Refer to
Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
.
Install the transmission fluid cooler hose to the Auxiliary oil cooler. Refer to
Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection

Install the front grill assembly. Refer to
