Service VME - 2004 New Model Product Changes - AUO administrative battery communication compartment cylinder door information lock M73 mirrorpassenger powertransmission windshield

When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

For your information, the following changes were made to a 2004 model year full-size pickups and should not be considered as mis-builds:

1. Green-Eye removed from battery
2. Passenger side door lock cylinder eliminated with RKE ( RPO AUO )
3. Front windshield tint band deleted
4. Glove box lamp removed
5. Puddle lamp removed from power fold outside rear view mirrors ( DL3 )
6. Allison (M74) transmission video tape removed

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance. This diagnostic approach was developed for the vehicle with the VIN you entered and should not be automatically be used for other vehicles with similar symptoms.
