IMPROVED INTERIOR CAB REINFORCEMENT-VERTICAL EXHAUST

Model and Year: 1983-85 MEDIUM DUTY TRUCKS WITH CAB MOUNTED EXHAUST

Effective with interim 1985, the interior cab reinforcement for the upper mounting of the vertical exhaust has been improved (Figure No. 1 shows a typical vertical exhause). This change eliminates the two reinforcements previously used and replaces them with a single bracket, P/N 15530183. Figure No. 2 shows the bracket installed, which can be accessed through the right hand speaker cover. The new part is a direct replacement for the former part, and should be used if bracket replacement is necessary.
