SINCE THE RELEASE OF THE SUBJECT MODEL, CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE ACCESSORY DRIVE AT THE FRONT OF THE ENGINE. THIS BULLETIN IDENTIFIES THE LATEST RELEASED PARTS, THE ATTACHING PROCEDURES AND HOW TO OBTAIN THE PROPER TORQUE AND BELT TENSION SPECIFICATIONS DURING ASSEMBLY. IF ANY OF THE MAJOR ACCESSORY DRIVE COMPONENTS REQUIRE REPLACEMENT OTHER THAN FOR NORMAL WEAR CONDITIONS, ALL OF THE COMPONENTS IN THE GROUP MAY HAVE BEEN SUBJECTED TO DAMAGING FORCES WHICH WILL REDUCE SERVICE LIFE. SUPPORT IS ETCHED WITH INSPECTION DATE ON REAR UNPAINTED FACE. HOUSING IS ETCHED WITH INSPECTION DATE ON UPPERMOST BOLT SLOT, THE FRONT UNPAINTED EDGE. ONLY DATED (INSPECTED) PARTS SHOULD BE USED. THE REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE AND ALL TORQUES AND TORQUING PROCEDURES BELOW MUST BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO. 1.CLEAN THE MOUNTING SURFACES ON THE ENGINE OF ALL PAINT AND CHECK THESE SURFACES FOR FLATNESS. 2.INSTALL SUPPORT P/N 2093715, USING P/N 2436165 (4 REQUIRED) 1/2 INCH PLAIN WASHERS AND P/N 9425082 BOLTS (4 REQUIRED) 1/2-13X 1-1/4"-TORQUE 85-105 LB.FT. 3.BEFORE INSTALLING THE NEW PULLEY TO THE NEW HOUSING ASSEMBLY, CHECK PULLEY FOR PAINT IN TAPER AND REMOVE IF FOUND. 4.PLACE THE PULLEY ON THE TAPERED SHAFT, INSTALL WASHER AND PREVAILING TORQUE NUT AND TORQUE 90-110 LB.FT. MAKING SURE THE SHAFT IS NOT TURNING INSIDE THE PULLEY. AN IMPACT AIR WRENCH SHOULD BE USED TO SEAT THE PULLEY ON THE SHAFT. * SEE BULLETIN FOR COMPLETE DETAILS *
