SOME OWNERS MAY COMMENT ABOUT PREMATURE OUTSIDE EDGE WEAR ON THE FRONT TIRES.
LOCAL URBAN PICKUP AND DELIVERY ROUTES REQUIRING HIGH AMOUNTS OF TURNING, MAXIMUM FRONT END WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION AND/OR IMPROPER TIRE PRESSURE MAY BE CONTRIBUTING FACTORS TO THIS CONCERN. IN ADDITION, FRONT END ALIGNMENT TOE ANGLE MAY BE A FACTOR.
IF THE ABOVE POTENTIAL CAUSES ARE DETERMINED NOT TO BE OUT OF ESTABLISHED NORMS, RESET THE FRONT END ALIGNMENT TOE ANGLE TO "0", FOLLOWING THE PROCEDURE DESCRIBED IN THE APPLICABLE SERVICE MANUAL, SECTION 3A. BEFORE PERFORMING TOE-IN MEASUREMENT AND ADJUSTMENT, CHECK THE CASTER AND CAMBER SETTINGS TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE WITHIN PUBLISHED SPECIFICATIONS. IN MOST CASES, CASTER AND CAMBER SETTINGS WILL BE WITHIN SPECIFICATIONS AND NOT REQUIRE ADJUSTMENT.
