MODELS: 1988-1992 W4 WITH JATCO ELECTROMATIC TRANSMISSION

The 1992 W4 JATCO Electromatic transmission is not interchangeable with any previous model year transmissions. When replacing a JATCO Electromatic transmission in a W4 be sure to replace it with the proper part number. The 1992 transmission has had several major changes due to the higher torque and horsepower rating of the 1992 4BD2-TC engine. The correct part numbers are listed below in order to ensure correct transmission replacement.
