Camber angle is the amount in degrees that the wheel varies from a vertical position.
Positive camber is when the top of the tire tilts away from the vehicle as viewed from the front of the vehicle.
Negative camber is when the top of the tire tilts toward the vehicle as viewed from the front of the vehicle.
Camber affects tire wear. Too much positive camber will result in the tire wearing prematurely on the outer edge of the tread. Excessive negative camber will cause the tire to wear quickly on the inner edge of the tread.
