A double check valve is installed at the front brake system air manifold. The double check valve is used to control the flow of air from two sources to a common outlet. A movable ball within the valve responds to the applied air pressure in order to allow one signal to be blocked while the other air signal is allowed to pass through the valve. The check valve allows the stronger air source signal to be applied to the outlet port.
