Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 43220 Size: SH
  1. Block the vehicle's wheels.
  2. Set the parking brake.
  3. Drain the air reservoirs. Refer to Draining Reservoirs .
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  5. Remove the low air pressure switch.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 43220 Size: SH
  1. Install the low air pressure switch.
  2. Connect the electrical connector.
  3. Start the engine. Charge the air system to the governor cut-out point.
  4. Check for air leaks at the line connections with a soap solution. No leakage is allowed.
  5. Check for proper operation. Refer to Low Air Pressure Switch .
  6. Remove the wheel blocks.
