For 1990-2009 cars only
- For the correct governor settings, refer to Governor Adjustment Specifications
- Loosen the jam nut.
- Turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise in order to raise the pressure setting or clockwise in order to lower the pressure setting.
- Tighten the jam nut after the adjustment.
- Recheck the cut-in and cut-out pressures. Refer to Governor
- Install the cover on the governor.
Adjustments may be necessary if the range falls below 100 kPa (15 psi) or if the pressure settings are incorrect. Before making any adjustments, check the governor hoses for restrictions.
Remove the plastic cover from the governor.
